Professional Floor Care Guide

Plan daily and periodic care around floor type, traffic and soil load.

Floor care should improve appearance, reduce slip risk and protect the surface. Ceramic, natural stone, PVC and coated floors may require different products, pads and procedures.

01

Identify the floor first

Confirm the material, finish and manufacturer guidance before using acidic or highly alkaline products. Test compatibility in a discreet area when appropriate.

  • Remove dry soil first
  • Place safety signage
  • Dilute according to the label
  • Finish with clean tools and water
02

Daily and periodic care

Daily routines remove accumulated soil; deep cleaning, finish removal and joint care belong in a planned periodic programme.

03

Choose suitable equipment

Area size, obstacles and soil level determine whether a mop system, single-disc machine or scrubber dryer is appropriate. Equipment maintenance prevents dirty water returning to the surface.

Always follow the product label, safety data sheet and your organisation’s procedures.
